Rersearch on the Role Reconstruction and Innovation Capability Cultivation Path of Young Scientists in Tackling "Bottleneck" Technologies

This paper delves into the background, current status, and significance of "bottleneck" technologies for national development, with a particular emphasis on the role reconstruction and innovation capability cultivation of young scientists in breaking through these critical technological bottlenecks. By analyzing the definition, characteristics, and domestic and international status of "bottleneck" technologies, it reveals their constraining effects on economics, science and technology, national defense, and other fields. The paper points out that the traditional role of young scientists in the research system has limitations, making it difficult to meet the complex and urgent needs of tackling "bottleneck" technologies, thus necessitating role reconstruction. Young scientists should transition from being "implementers" to "innovation leaders," serving as bridges in interdisciplinary collaboration, international exchange, and industry-academia-research collaboration. The paper also analyzes the current situation and challenges of young scientists' innovation capabilities, including the connotation, elements, current status, and influencing factors of innovation capabilities, and proposes paths for cultivating innovation capabilities, such as enhancing knowledge reserves and learning abilities, fostering innovative thinking, exercising practical abilities, improving team collaboration and resource integration abilities, and optimizing policy support and research environments. Through case studies of successful examples both domestically and internationally, it summarizes common experiences and lessons, providing references for the cultivation of innovation capabilities among young scientists in China. Finally, the paper concludes with research findings, points out research limitations, and proposes directions for future research.
