This study addresses the issue of the lack of emotional education for children and explores a design model that uses picture books to enhance children's positive emotions. By reviewing relevant literature on emotional theories and picture book design, the study analyzes the role of picture books in emotional cognition, expression, and regulation, and summarizes the visual, experiential, and communicative design elements that influence children's positive emotional development. The research indicates that emotional-themed picture books, through design means such as color, images, and narratives, can effectively promote children's emotional understanding and the cultivation of positive emotions, providing theoretical basis and design references for emotional education practice.
