Abstract

This research aims to explore the ecological thought in Coleridge's Dejection: An Ode and ana-lyze it under the perspective of Marxist ecology. Through the interpretation of natural imagery and the excavation of ecological thought in the poem, it reveals its intrinsic connection with the Marxist ecology, further enriches our understanding of ecological thought in Romantic literature, and provides literary support and theoretical reference for the construction of contemporary ecological civilization.
