Research on the spatial distribution and protection of inta ngible cultural heritage in henan province

Abstract

The rich intangible cultural heritage of Henan Province is a testament to the long-standing Central Plains civilization and historical culture. The purpose is to examine intangible cultural heritage from the perspectives of geographical distribution, the activation and utilization of intangible cultural heritage, and the interactive relationship between intangible cultural heritage and the natural and humanistic environment, which is more conducive to a deeper understanding of its spatial distribution characteristics. Methods: By using the data of the number of intangible cultural heritages in each city of Henan Province and the distribution points in cities, and with the aid of ArcGIS kernel density analysis, location entropy, Moran index, mathematical statistics and other methods, the spatial pattern and influencing factors of intangible cultural heritages in Henan Province were studied. The research results show that the intangible cultural heritage projects in Henan Province are distributed in clusters geographically, forming a distribution feature that radiates and decreases successively from the city centers where each population lives to the surrounding areas. The main factors influencing the spatial distribution of intangible cultural heritage include: ①humanistic environment factors, ②geographical environment factors, ③regional economic development level, and ④local policy support. Conclusion: Exploring the spatial distribution pattern of intangible cultural heritage is conducive to promoting the protection of intangible cultural heritage in today's society and has certain significance for promoting the construction of national cultural brands.
