Motivation Mechanism and Practical Strat-egies for Young Scientific Researchers to Carry Forward the Spirit of Scientists

Abstract

Young scientific researchers are the main force in China's scientific research, and carrying forward the spirit of scientists holds great value in promoting China's scientific progress. This study elaborates on the rich connotations of the spirit of scientists, including patriotism, innovation, truth-seeking, dedication, collaboration, and education, and discusses its significant value in inspiring scientific workers to reach new heights, promoting the sustained and healthy development of the scientific and technological cause, and enhancing the country's scientific and technological competitiveness. By analyzing internal and external motivational factors such as personal ideals, career aspirations, national policies, and social atmosphere, this study explores their interactions and the pathways through which they influence the growth of young scientific researchers, thereby constructing a motivation mechanism. Furthermore, it proposes practical strategies to assist young scientific researchers in carrying forward the spirit of scientists, including strengthening education and training, setting up role models and exemplars, providing resources and support, and promoting exchanges and cooperation. The aim is to provide solid theoretical support and practical guidance for the sustained and healthy development of China's scientific and technological cause.
