Focusing on the Mandarin Union Version of the Bible and adopting the perspective of communicative translation theory, this paper discusses translation methods and techniques from lexical, syntactic, and textual angles with concrete examples. It explores the translation's impact on the spread of Christianity, modern Chinese culture, and contemporary translation practice, offering a referential model for biblical translation studies and cross-cultural communication. The study also acknowledges its limitations and suggests directions for future research.
