Research on the aging transformation of indoor switches and sockets in old residential areas

Abstract

As China 's aging degree continues to deepen, home care has become one of the mainstream pension models, and the refinement and systematicness of the aging transformation of old residential areas is becoming more and more important. However, the current transformation practice focuses more on the barrier-free design of public space, and generally ignores the high-frequency use of indoor facilities such as switches and sockets, which leads to the physical burden and safety risks of the elderly in their daily operation. Taking Heping Community in Chengdu as an example, through field research, ergonomic analysis and behavioral characteristics of the elderly, this paper identifies the core problems such as too high switch, too low socket and inconvenient operation at night, and puts forward a comprehensive transformation strategy covering high optimization, equipment replacement, electrical system upgrading, intelligent home care and long-term operation and maintenance. This paper provides theoretical support and practical reference for promoting the transformation of old residential areas from " extensive " to " refined. "
